The award winners will be featured at the 4th Annual Neighborhood Empowerment Summit Oct. 27. All the nominations will be reviewed by a team comprised of several key City departments including Economic Development, Community Development, Planning, Keep Denton Beautiful, and Code Enforcement. The goal of the Neighborhood Empowerment Summit is to give residents the tools they need to perform tasks that effect positive change in their neighborhoods; thus, creating great places to live, work, and play. The Neighborhood Empowerment Summit offers attendees extraordinary educational opportunities free of charge in three primary areas: community building, leadership development, and civic empowerment. |
