More Human Traffic to Downtown

So I've noticed the increasing amount of foot traffic happening around the square, and though it's always encouraging to see people of all ages on the Square, I would say there's a lot of room for growth. Activities that are already set in place, such as picnicing on the Courthouse lawn, Thursday Night Twighlight Concerts, First Friday Denton, Denton Drum Circle just to name a few can be more well-attended with the arrival of food trucks, parked in the lot next to Ramen Republic. There are plenty of apps, such as Roaming Hunger, that can help folks locate their favorite ones and maybe make some new friends in a different part of town. Another way already becoming steadily more popular across the country is to have movie nights at the parks across town, starting with Quakertown Park, in the same area where the Courtyard Stage was this year at JazzFest, with the food trucks setting up in the Civic Center Parking lot. It's a fun way to get people out to enjoy the parks throughout the year. Thanks for this great way to participate in our civic duty! Keep it up!
