While not so quaint as being downtown, many folks eat at fast food restaurants along University Dr because it's convenient and quick. However, I suspect many would welcome the variety that food trucks offer. I've always wondered who owns that unsightly building and parking lot that used to be Bill Utter Ford many years ago. It has been empty for so long and I've thought that the building could be used as an indoor food court for food trucks. At one time, cars and trucks were parked on the display floor so there must be access. There was a covered service area as well and bathrooms. The parking lot could be torn up and made a green space for environmentally friendly car & bike parking and outdoor dining as well as using the indoor area for bad weather days. The possibilities are endless....if only someone could grab the property ;)
